I’m Josie Estes, a student designer located in the NYC metropolitan area. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. I am interested in the intersection of mediums and artistic practices, specifically design and photography. Their relationship is one that I play with in a lot of my work, as well as the incorporation of more physical mediums like collage and painting into the heavily digital world of design. I take a lot of inspiration from editorial and commercial work, as well as designers such as Paula Scher, Tracy Ma, and Tibor Kalman.
